Sara K. Blackwell
Sara K. Blackwell is a Partner working out of the Sarasota, FL office of Goodman McGuffey LLP. Her areas of practice include all aspects of property, coverage, personal injury and employment law.
Ms. Sara Blackwell is admitted to practice before the Louisiana Middle District Federal District Court and the Middle, Southern and Northern Federal Districts of Florida since 2011. She received her Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from McNeese State University and earned her Juris Doctorate from Louisiana State University, Paul M. Hebert Law Center, where she graduated Order of the Coif in May of 2002 (remained in top 4% during entire tenure).
Ms. Sara Blackwell has been published in several national and international media outlets, as well as being a featured speaker on radio and news shows discussing various issues related to employment, business, outsourcing and offshoring. Sara is a published author of several novels including, “By Grace, We Cannot Love”, “Destiny of One”, “Venergy” and “My Sold Out Life”.
Ms. Sara Blackwell taught employment law from 2014-2017 to human resources managers at the University of South Florida and teaches business law at Southeastern University. She has been featured on 60 Minutes, Tucker Carlson, PBS, Megan Kelly Show, New York Times numerous times.
