Lauren K. Thomas

Lauren is an associate attorney in the Sarasota, FL office and is a member of the Insurance Coverage and Liability Practice. Prior to joining Goodman McGuffey, LLP in April of 2023, Lauren worked as an associate at a large national general services firm where she gained experience in premises liability, auto negligence, medical malpractice and products liability cases.

Lauren graduated summa cum laude from the University of Kentucky with a degree in Political Science. She received her J.D. from Belmont University’s College of Law in Nashville, TN. While there, she participated in the 2022 University of Maryland Health Law Regulatory & Compliance Competition and was vice president of the Women’s Legal Society.
