J. Aaron Snipes
Aaron Snipes is an Associate Attorney in the Atlanta office at Goodman McGuffey LLP, where he represents individuals and insurance companies with a primary focus on auto liability and insurance coverage. He is a member of the firm’s liability defense and the insurance coverage practice groups. Prior to joining the firm, Aaron practiced at an interstate civil litigation firm where he managed numerous cases and handled all aspects of litigation from inception, including, initial case analysis, discovery, depositions, motions, and hearings.
Aaron earned his Juris Doctor, from The University of Missouri School of Law and graduated with honors in the Order of Barristers. He was a member of the Black Law Students Association, the Board of Advocates’ nationally ranked trial team, and worked in the Entrepreneurialship Clinic. He also received a certificate in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) for his legal training in Mediation, Arbitration, and Negotiation. While in law school, Aaron returned home and was a summer intern for the Attorney General’s Office in Atlanta, Georgia where he worked in the Regulated Industries and Professions Division that focused on Consumer Protection, Environmental law, and the Licensing Boards for the State of Georgia.
Aaron earned his undergraduate degree in Economics at Emory University. He is a member of the Young Lawyers Division of the Georgia Bar and was selected for the 2019 YLD Leadership Academy Class. He volunteers with the High School Mock Trial tournament, his fraternity Omega Psi Phi, Fraternity Inc., and is a member of the Atlanta Bar Association.
