Breanna Sturdivant is an associate in the Atlanta, Georgia office of Goodman McGuffey LLP. As a member of the workers’ compensation group, she assists in matters involving self-insured and commercially insured employers.
Breanna is a Georgia native – born and raised in Powder Springs, Georgia. She received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Georgia in 2019. She graduated from the University of Georgia School of Law, cum laude, in 2023.
While in law school, Breanna served on the executive board for three organizations. She served as the Closing Argument Director of UGA Law’s Mock Trial Team, Treasurer of the Davenport Benham Chapter of the National Black Law Students Association, and Executive Publication Editor of the Georgia Criminal Law Review. This is the newest student-edited journal from the University of Georgia School of Law. Breanna selected the notes and articles that were included in the first publication of the journal.
During law school, she worked as a Teaching Assistant for an Associate Dean and a Research Assistant for a distinguished professor. To gain insight into several different areas of law, she interned with the Chief Judge of a U.S. Bankruptcy Court, externed in-house with a multinational company, and participated in two clinics, in two fields of law.
In her free time, Breanna enjoys trying new restaurants in the Atlanta area, spending time with friends and family, and taking her Pomeranian-Chihuahua, Kali, for walks.
