Michael Coletta joined the Charlotte office of Goodman McGuffey LLP in January 2017, primarily practicing in workers’ compensation.
Michael graduated cum laude from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 2015, and he earned his Bachelor’s degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2012. He is admitted to the North Carolina State Bar.
During law school, Michael clerked for the Honorable Judge Wanda Bryant at the North Carolina Court of Appeals and for the Legal Services of Southern Piedmont in Charlotte. Michael received the Certificate in Dispute Resolution from the NCCU Dispute Resolution Institute and served as a mediator for Durham County District Court. He was also a member of his school’s Pro Bono Council and volunteered with Legal Aid of North Carolina and local wills clinics.
