Matthew P. Ouellette joined the Sarasota, Florida office of Goodman McGuffey LLP, in June 2018. Matthew’s practice focuses on general and commercial civil litigation as well as insurance coverage and defense. Matthew is a member of the Florida Bar and the Sarasota County Bar Association.
Matthew graduated cum laude from the University of Florida College of Law in May 2018. While in law school, Matthew served as a law clerk for the Florida Department of Fish and Wildlife General Counsel’s office and as a Certified Legal Intern in the State Attorney’s Office for the Eighth Circuit. Matthew was also an active member of the University of Florida’s Environmental Moot Court Team and was invited to compete at the Jefferey G. Miller National Environmental Law Moot Court Competition in New York.
Prior to law school, Matthew graduated from the University of North Florida with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications and Public Relations. After college, Matthew worked for an international marine engineering company on assignments in both Egypt and Brazil. Matthew was raised in North Florida and now resides in Bradenton, Florida with his wife Aly.
